WORK EXPERIENCE
I spent more than a decade as a manager in IT startups. I worked in game development, then as a product manager at Ustream and Prezi, and tried my hand at running my own company. During this time I experienced what it means to grow and scale suddenly. What it means to change strategy. How much weight and impact organisational culture have on the outcome and how dangerous it is when I lose control of it. What an effort it is to get it all back and build trust. How much it helped me when an experienced coach helped me find my answers when I could hardly breathe in the rush. I started to learn facilitation and later coaching to develop myself further as a leader. Over the years, I started to enjoy and seek this aspect of my work more and more and that’s why I changed.
As a developer, my most important principle is that I work well if I can get my work done as quickly as possible. In my own training, I’ve also made it a point to learn methodologies that help my clients find the answers that fit them as quickly as possible.

“I’ve been coached by Daniel during a period in my career when I felt that I needed to make a change but I wasn’t sure how I should proceed. He helped me reflect on my own motivations and see it more clearly what is important for me as a person. He will not give you his own opinion on where you should go, or how you should feel about things – and that’s actually a really good thing – but he will ask you the right questions so that you can be in the best position to make your own decisions.
(Manager, Multinational IT Company)
I was very lucky to enjoy Daniel’s support while designing the multifaceted program of Brain Bar Budapest festival. Knowing that he had a background in product management and business coaching I was amazed by the way Daniel could facilitate an unusual creative process.
Daniel combines his genuine skill of leading a participatory process with a huge variety of visual and creative thinking techniques. With these he was able to shift our mindset and steer our thinking towards the best possible and feasible direction even in the most challenging moments.
Our team at Design Terminal especially valued his encouraging approach and presence with which he took control of the process and let us do the work.
The program design – presented to the sponsors of the event including the main partner, Google – in major part was brought to life as a result of our workshops guided by him.
